Early Life & Formation
Born on the 16th of January in the 1980s, Dr. Simput Eagles Dafup II grew up in Plateau State, witnessing its rich cultural tapestry and natural beauty — alongside the deep-seated challenges of poverty, insecurity, and underdevelopment. These formative experiences planted in him an unshakeable resolve to serve. A multidisciplinary leader, community developer, and technologist, he is recognised for his commitment to service and innovation in Nigeria, parts of Africa, and the United States.

Dr. Dafup II holds an extensive portfolio of international degrees across several specialised fields. Doctorates: DMS in Engineering Management (India) and PhD in Artificial Intelligence (Switzerland). Master's Degrees: MBA in International Business (India), M.Sc. Robotics and Artificial Intelligence (France), Eng.M Software Engineering (USA), and M.A. Christian Leadership (USA). Bachelor's Degrees: Eng.B Software Engineering (USA), B.Tech Electrical & Electronics Engineering (Ghana), B.Sc. Information Technology (Ghana), and B.A. Theology (USA). He also holds an Honorary Doctorate in Leadership and Conflict Management (Nigeria), and professional training in Flight Piloting, Human Rights Studies, and Private Investigation.
Scientist, Engineer & Innovator
Dr. Dafup II is a Scientist and engineer who has succeeded in unravelling ideas in Science and Technology — including generating hydropower for community use, building robotic security chip systems, and developing IoT-driven applications for smart societies. He is a progressive and a believer in Green/Clean Society principles. A decade ago, he founded 16th Era Plus Technologies, which later metamorphosed into the 16th Era Group — a conglomerate with subsidiaries spanning Oil & Gas, Healthcare, and Manufacturing. He also developed CRYBUG, a FinTech blockchain platform and P2P centralised crypto exchange with a native coin.
The E4P Movement & 2027 Vision
In 2024, Dr. Dafup II formally declared his intention to contest the 2027 Plateau State Governorship election on the platform of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), launching the "Everyone For Plateau" (E4P) movement. His vision is to architect a Plateau State where innovation meets equity — leveraging expertise in Engineering Management, Robotics, and AI to bridge traditional industry and the digital future. His campaign is anchored on the Plateau Rebirth Manifesto — a comprehensive 4-year blueprint covering all 17 LGAs across 9 critical sectors, committed to an "Open Society" built on merit, not bigotry.
